Welcome to your next level

If you have found this page you are likely touching 40 or above

I am currently 52 and have been experiencing peri-menopause for around the last 10 years.

With my work as a stretch coach and a breath coach, alongside all the years of experience with peri-menopause - I decided to also get certified as a menopause coach. It all fits together nicely, the body is better treated as a whole than the sum of different parts.

This is a transitional phase of life which is not at all easy on the body.

Symptoms of peri-menopause vary wildly from woman to woman, some symptoms are solely due to fluctuating hormone levels. Without replacing hormones there is not too much that can be done about those symptoms - your periods will change and then stop at some point!

Some symptoms however such as anxiety, sleep issues, joint pains, digestive issues, weight gain, mood to name just a few.....can be very much eased to make our bodies more able to cope well with the transition.

The nervous system is in charge so we start there.....release tension, ease stress, understand the process, move the body.....start to feel stronger and find some relief!

I have a 4 day guided peri-menopause programme

Timeline of Change

Every woman is different, the symptoms listed and the ages are generalised and you should not worry if this doesn't sound exactly like you.

Early Perimenopause

usually late 30's to early 40's

  • Periods becoming heavier and closer together

  • Mild hot flushes

  • Brain fog

  • Mood swings

  • Fatigue

  • Anxiety

  • A funny out of control feeling that tells you something is different

Mid Perimenopause

usually mid to late 40's

  • Hot flushes may increase

  • Sleep can be increasingly disrupted

  • Mood swings tend to notch up another level

  • Periods become more unpredictable in length, frequency and flow

  • Other symptoms show up - chin hairs, itchy skin, bloating hell etc etc....

Late Perimenopause

usually late 40's to early 50's

  • You may go longer between periods, and they will start to go missing

  • You might just feel so done with ‘everything’- low libido, lack of interest in cooking/looking after everyone/just wanting some time for you

  • All of the above symptoms can rage for longer as you go longer between periods

Menopause

Just one single day!

This is the day you might want to have a little party!! 🥳

The day you reach 12 consecutive months without a period.

Post Menopause

Everything after the day before!

Hormone levels are a lot lower in general but the difference is they now become stable so you can finally get off the rollercoaster.

The thing to be most mindful of now is your FSH

level will be higher and this can affect things like bone density, muscle mass, fat storage and cardiovascular health.

Embrace the you that has emerged from the chaos of peri-menopause and live your life to the fullest.

You as a child and you as a post-menopausal woman are probably the truest versions possible!

Workplace Coaching

Menopause is not just a 'women's issue', it is something that affects careers, workplace environments, productivity and relationships.

If employers are not trying to understand it, addressing it, and showing compassion that is definitely a problem for all involved.

Woman are struggling through their symptoms to show up daily but it leads to more stress, more symptoms, more absenteeism, loss of talent and reduced productivity.

This is why I offer menopause coaching and workshops to businesses nationwide alongside my stretching and breathwork programmes -  to increase productivity, overall well-being and moral.

Look after your employees......Look after your business
